Coronavirus Covid-19 Update
As a major UK supplier of long life milk we have seen unprecedented demand for long life milk across all of our retail customers since the middle of March. Our dedicated staff, farmers and suppliers have worked hard and in many cases long hours to help meet this demand. Whilst initially due to high levels of panic buying we saw lots of out of stocks in our retail customers we are pleased to say that due to the step up in production and the buying in of additional milk from local farms previously destined for food service, we have now been able to continue to satisfy our retail orders.
Due to the increase in production we are pleased to be able to support The Governments food parcel schemes for the vulnerable which will include cartons of Crediton Dairy UHT milk.
The safety of our staff is of course of paramount importance to us. The dairy continues to operate largely as normal but with all non-essential Crediton Dairy staff working from home and with those who do need to remain on site e.g production and technical employees observing strict social distancing and hygiene measures.
We would like to thank all our staff, farmers and suppliers for their ongoing commitment during these very unusual times.
